Australian Country Music Hall of Fame Volunteer
The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame, including the Walk a Country Mile exhibit, features an unmatched collection of memorabilia from Australian Country Music artists. The displays tell the story of Australasian country music from its beginnings. The Museum is located at Tamworth’s original visitor information centre’s guitar shaped building.
To operate, the museum relies on the hard work and dedication of a passionate team of volunteers who are friendly, have a general interest in the museum and like working in a team environment.
Some of the roles that volunteers can assist with include:
- Archiving and catalogue work.
- Welcoming visitors, being available to answer general question and for group tours.
- Help to plan, erect, maintain and dismantle exhibits.
Training will be provided as part of commencement.
The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame is open Tuesday-Sunday 10am-4pm.
